As Tooling Manager, you will be a member of the site engineering Team focused on DFM, quotation, design, fabrication, assembly, trial run of stamping tooling, supervising tooling team and new project tooling technical discuss with supplier. Through a passion for innovation, technology, and data, you will drive process improvements and work simplification for the tooling team with a focus on collaboration and building solutions together with cross functions.
Your key responsibilities:
Leader for new project tooling development, including tooling RFQ, DFM, tooling design/design review and tooling fabrication.
Support Purchasing department to select tooling vendor and evaluated tooling vendor performance.
Be responsible for tooling department work, support company level strategies.
Manage the corresponding employee and monitor their routine jobs.
Be responsible for talent development on aspect of tooling design.
Lead key projects assigned by leaders.
Be responsible for department level EHS performance.
Qualifications:
High level of technical expertise and understanding in stamping tooling design and fabrication area.
10 years of experience in stamping tooling design with 5 years minimum team leader experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrated strong safety mindset.
