We are searching for a Project Quality Engineer to drive quality planning activities during product development projects and in parallel be the one-face-to-customer contact for quality topics during project phase for our Product Line Chassis Suspension, Division Chassis Solutions, AP. Your tasks: * As one of the core members of the project team you will work on APQP tasks, give guidance and lead the problem resolution process during the development of new products, at the same time you are the Quality Contact to customers, ensuring quick reaction on quality issues and straight communication during project phase. * Quality planning in worldwide projects of the product line Chassis Suspension. * ZF responsible for all quality topics (APQP Process) within the project and customer contact for quality tasks. * Review of quality standards in projects and plants. * Performing process audits in plants and projects. * Introduction, improvements and application of quality methods e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, Automotive SPICE. * Act as customer interface for Quality issues during project phase. * Lead root cause investigation on quality issues during all project phases, delegating tasks to owners and ensuring follow up to meet customer expectations in response time and investigation quality. * Ensure and validate implementation of corrective actions. * Creation and submission of 8D report to customers. * Perform look across of known failure modes to prevent recurrence. * Share Lessons Learnt from Field Quality to Project Quality. * Agreement of quality targets with customers. Your profile: * Completed studies in engineering or industrial engineering and has professional experience in quality management in the automotive industry as well as in the field of mechatronic systems. Has SAP and MS Office knowledge. * Experience in management or supporting in projects. * Experience in the quality methods FMEA, Control Plan and SPICE, VDA Standards, IATF. * Excellent communication skills to deal with customers, be fluent in both verbal and written English as well as Chinese. * High willingness to travel due to the international orientation of the position. * Knowledge of problem-solving methods, Organizational skills and has ability to work under pressure. * Six Sigma Greenbelt certification within 24 months will be appreciated.
