We are looking for a new colleague Sr. Commodity Buyer at our location in Jiaxing/Shanghai.
Your tasks:
* Conduct sourcing in region AP based on commodity processes.
* Interact and cooperate with internal stakeholders to align plan and demand.
* Implement the global commodity strategy.
* Interact with global commodity to support the definition and implementation of regional strategy.
* Perform as interface to the plants in the region, support and safeguard the launch of projects.
* Support the global commodity to manage the suppliers and their nominated projects.
Your profile:
* 5 years experience in Global Purchasing or (Advanced) Manufacturing Engineering.
* Bachelor in Engineering / Automotive or Bachelor in International Economy and Trading or above.
* Workable English in listening, speaking, reading and writing ability.
* Ability to work in cross-functional/-regional team.
* Ability to acquaint oneself with new problems and tasks.
* Availability for business travel.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
* Result oriented and ability to work under pressure.
* Strategic thinking
