Responsibities:
? Identify and evaluate cost saving opportunities, reliable supplier base and quality vendors.
? Work closely with demand sectors to complete various supplier sourcing, price comparison, and procurement tasks.
? Summarize sourcing requirements from demand sectors and convey necessary information to suppliers.
? Provide accurate data analysis to support the progress of procurement projects.
? Regularly assess market price trends for managed categories.
? Establish yearly sourcing pipeline.
? Ensure cost competitive supply for the unit by running tenders and benchmark exercises in the supply market.
? Responsible for introduction of new suppliers and the removal of existing suppliers in conformance with the supplier approval process in place.
? Manage cross-functional sourcing project teams.
? Master Data management for indirect categories.
Required:
? Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Logistics or related discipline.
? At least 3 year experience in indirect category sourcing, purchasing and data analysis.
? With experience and ability in data collection, summarization, analysis, and processing.
? Solid experience in indirect categories sourcing of HR, Admin, Engineering, IT, Warehouse, QA, etc.
? Previous exposure in packaging industry will be advantageous
