Reporting to the Power Design Director, the System Architect role involves…
What a typical day looks like:
61 Provide technical expertise in fields OBC (up to 22kW) and automotive HV/LV DCDC (up to 5kW)
61 Collect market trends and prepare market research and customer information for vehicle electrification system
61 Define technology roadmap, hardware architecture and build platform design
61 Creation of technical offers and evaluation of customer requirements
61 Manage follow up of engineering details along project development
61 Creation of the customer presentation and documentation
61 Meet regularly with engineering peers at Flex’s customers
61 Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and value engineering
61 Work with cross-functional technical teams
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
61 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
61 Minimum 5 years in system artchitect or system engineer position
61 Preferred experience in server power, solar/wind energy, OBC or DCDC system development
61 Solid knowledge in circuit principle of switching mode power supplies and power conversion of AC/DC, DC/AC and DC/DC
61 Preferred knowledge of domestic standards (GB) and international standards (IEC/UL) in OBC and automotive HV/LV DCDC applications
61 Preferred knowledge of simulation tools software such as Matlab, Simulink
61 Deep knowledge of component/testing
61 Fluent English knowledge both in written and spoken form
61 Alert and open to new product/process innovation/improvement idea
61 Ability to Travel is required
