Key Tasks
61 Selecting/qualifying / developing suppliers
61 Establishing strategic supplier relationships in selected product groups
61 Negotiating with suppliers
61 Concluding contracts
61 Technical clarification in cooperation with the various specialist departments
61 Long-term support for specific product groups (commodity management)
61 Coordinating and communicating on an international scale (internally and externally)
61 Planning and implementing cost reduction projects
61 Shared responsibility in a project for compliance with budget targets, deadlines, quality,
and security of supply of plant construction projects
61 Supervise inspection and expediting functions
Qualifications
61 University degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or commercial training with a technical background
61 10–15 years of related experience in the chemical industry
61 Native Mandarin and business fluent English; German language skills are a plus
61 Experience working with international teams and multinational companies
61 Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
61 Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
61 Exercise high autonomy in decision-making, with full transparency and adherence to company compliance
