Reporting to:
Category Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
●
Supports the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global category leader. Supports regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.
●
Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. Finish annual cost saving target. Runs new quotations in time, communicate with suppliers for the best delivery to ensue material vailability for projects.
●
Onboards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer, runs regular supplier evaluations, and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers. Support new requirements of categories from internal customers.
●
Mange main supplier performance. Quarterly review meeting about supplier OTD, quality and collaboration.
Qualifications for the Role
●
Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering
●
More than 5 years of procurement work experience, focusing on mechanical components
●
Good experience in MNC
●
Strong communication skill
●
Fluent in English
