The job encompasses development of leading-edge power system and system simulation.This job requires engagement with multiple groups on latest available technology, research of new inventions, collaboration with product development design teams. What a typical day looks like: ? Power system design including system level stability modeling and simulation. ? Developing leading-edge design and development from concept stage to working platform within the defined requirements. ? Solve technical related problems so encountered throughout the development phases ? Work across functional teams to ensure product meet product specification, cost target, schedule, etc. ? Bachelor (or above) in power electronics or electrical, automation. ? 8 years design experience for BS degree, 4 years design experience for Master degree, design experience during PhD for PhD degree, in high power system design and simulation (Rack of Telecom, Server, HVDC ...), independent project design experience. ? Familiar with engineering tools such as Matlab/Simulink, MatchCAD, PLECS, PADs, ? Self-motivated, passionate work, good team work ? Strong Power electronics / power system design knowledge, well understanding about modeling and simulation of the power rack and power system, solid understanding on popular topology such as Vienna PFC, T-NPC, ANPC, LLC, CLLC, etc. ?
